Had a big size room with shared bathroom to myself. The location was quiet, close to a quiet area, the suburbs of Carcassonne and the tourist centre. Personnel was pleasant and welcoming.

The room was comfortable and clean, providing a tranquil haven after a day of exploring. Although it was not centrally located, the breathtaking views of the old city from nearby made up for the slight inconvenience. I highly recommend this hidden gem for those seeking a serene experience away from the touristy hustle and bustle.

The bed was comfortable and the views of the mountains from here are great, with the setting being so close to the center, suburbs, and old town.

Lovely quiet neighborhood with fantastic view from the room. Only a short bus ride from the center, but the tranquility more than made up for the distance. Madame was friendly and helpful, providing useful information about the area. I also enjoyed the dedicated parking within the compound, making it convenient for guests with a car.

The cleanliness of the room was very disappointing, with hair and mess on the floor. The strong smell of cigarettes throughout the property was also off-putting.

I keep returning to my favorite place in Carcassonne. They helped plan my evening here on my first stay. It's perfect - Wi-Fi, valet parking, AC, shuttle, TV, VIP check-in/out. I'll be back for another romantic getaway.

We were initially concerned about the location, but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise. Plus, the bus ride to the center was only a short 10-15 minutes, and we even enjoyed taking a leisurely 40-minute walk to soak in the surroundings. The friendly and helpful host added a personal touch to our stay, making us feel right at home. Despite the slight language barrier, we managed to communicate effectively with the help of a translator. Our room was cozy and comfortable, providing us with all the necessary amenities. While the shared bathroom could be a downside for some, we were lucky to have it to ourselves for the majority of our stay. we had a pleasant experience at Les Orchidees and would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and peaceful stay in Carcassonne.

I stayed at Les Orchidees for a few nights during a difficult time and the host was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to help me. The room was nice with a great view, and having an electric tea kettle was very convenient. The night was peaceful and the host even offered to pick me up and drop me off at the train station. The internet was excellent and the host took care of my luggage after check-out. I highly recommend this hotel.
